Inspired by fragments of poems by Sappho (Island of Lesbos, 600 BC), the first female author known to the Western World. The narrative alludes to Sappho’s poetic expressions and the multiple readings of her figure throughout history.

Shocking Dreams in the Circus is an abstract work of mixed media art, composed of a series of oil paintings. It depicts animals, birds and insects as its protagonists instead of human beings. These animals engage in a soundless dialogue with each other as a letter passes through the film’s frame repeatedly. There are humans portrayed in Shocking Dreams as well and as their behaviours become increasingly animalistic, the behaviours of the animals become ever more human-like. Eventually, the line between the two groups begins to blur.

After, Maya, Give Me a Title, the sequel to Maya's adventures told by Blanche Gardin. Maya and her father live in two different countries. To maintain the bond with his daughter and continue to tell her stories, her father asks her every month "Maya, give me a title." From this title, he creates a cartoon for her in which she is the heroine. Michel Gondry then brings to life a poetic and amusing journey that will make little ones dream...and adults smile.

Curt Nimuendajú is a German ethnologist who lived in Brazil from 1903 until his death. In addition to having studied and defended the rights of about 50 indigenous peoples, he lived as one of them in each tribe. Nimuendajú died in 1945, in the Amazon, under unknown circumstances.

As a punishment for not working hard enough, “I” is forced by the authorities to live with an idiot. He chooses Vova from a lunatic asylum. Vova is only capable of speaking a single word: “Ech”.
