Stammer School follows a cast of struggling stammerers as they enrol in a course that aims to help them finally find their voices. Stammer School features Musharaf Asghar – affectionately known as Mushy – from Educating Yorkshire. He found a place in the hearts of the nation as millions tuned in to watch him learn methods to overcome his crippling stammer and achieve the C grade he needed in his English GCSE. Although Mushy’s stammer has improved, he is often left speechless still. With the help of an intensive programme, led by other stutterers, Stammer School will follow Mushy and others as they attempt to overcome this huge stumbling block in their lives.

At his son Konstantin's parents' evening, Philipp Gressmann meets Dolores Sturm - reluctantly, as he emphasizes several times. The woman is completely out of his league. Gressmann, very rich, lives in the posh West End, Dolores in a high-rise estate in the middle of a social hotspot in the city. On leaving school, Dolores follows in his footsteps in order to escape two very shady characters, Taci and Ali. A turbulent journey through the night begins, in which these very different worlds meet. Gressmann experiences things he would never have dreamed of and has experiences he would rather have done without. His world, so finely ordered, begins to show considerable cracks. To his own surprise, Dr. Gressmann, who is otherwise so detached and coolly calculating, suddenly shows emotion.
