War

The events take place in Russia in 1917. A former peasant, and now a soldier, Ivan Shadrin, was sent by fellow soldiers from the German front to revolutionary Petrograd to hand Lenin a letter with questions from his comrades.

During the German occupation, Belarusian teacher Ales Moroz does not abandon his students, instilling in them a sense of determination and courage. One day, the students disobey their teacher and decide to avenge their parents. As a result of a failed attempt on the lives of Nazi henchmen, the children are taken prisoner. Unable to find support from the partisans, Ales decides to share the fate of his students and surrenders to the enemy, which after the war is considered treason. Only one of his students, Pavel Miklashevich, miraculously survives until Victory Day. Continuing his teacher's work, Pavel devotes his life to restoring the good name of Ales Moroz.

They had to overcome many life-and-death challenges and enormous adversities in order to mobilise the masses to prepare for an uprising and seize power from the Japanese fascists, in a situation where the country fell into the tragedy of famine.

By the time he reaches Prašiva, the destination of his journey, he realizes where his place is. And although he is not only at the end of his journey following the partisans, but also at the end of his life, his last words become the confession of a simple man who has realized on whose side truth and justice are.

The film is a historical story, based on the 3rd century BC Maurya Emperor Chandragupta Maurya and his mentor Chanakya. It begins with the Greek invader Alexander intruding on our borders, Magadha as his last step of sovereignty. Discerning it, fear-defying scholar Chanakya is under trace of the dynamic King to hinder it.
