Neha Jimmy, a 2025 AACTA Young Star finalist, is a dynamic actress whose passion and determination to amplify South Asian representation in film and television fuel her craft. Born in Belfast, UK and moving to Sydney, Australia, Neha brings a unique cultural perspective to her work, blending her diverse heritage with her talent and vision for inclusivity in the arts. Neha's training and dedication to her craft are reflected in her impressive skill set. She completed NIDA screen acting classes in Year 11 and has trained extensively in vocal singing, speech, and drama, earning accolades such as ASCA (Drama) and AMEB (Music) certificates, alongside numerous singing eisteddfods. Her versatility as a performer is matched by her ability to perform in a range of accents, including Northern Irish, American, British, and Australian, adding depth and authenticity to her characters. Her acting credits include her role in the award-winning TV show Colin from Accounts, where she played Em in Season 2, Episode 5, under the direction of Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope, working alongside acclaimed actors Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall. She has also been featured in several commercials, including a radio ad showcasing her singing talent.
