Sasha comes from Oxfordshire and has been playing the trumpet since he was eight years old. He has been a member of the Guildhall School of Music Junior department for four years and now studies the trumpet and the natural trumpet with Simon Munday. He is a member of the National Youth Orchestra and has been a member of the City of Birmingham Symphony Youth Orchestra since 2017. He was also a member of the National Youth Brass Band from 2019 to 2021. Sasha will begin studying at the Royal Academy of Music in September. Conducting and composing are also an important part of Sasha’s musical life. When he’s not playing music, he enjoys playing tennis, and visiting art galleries.
