Gregor Dorfmeister (7 March 1929 – 4 February 2018) was a German journalist and writer. He published three novels under the pseudonym Manfred Gregor: His debut novel, The Bridge, was turned into a Golden Globe Award-winning film of the same name. The second, The Verdict, is best known in the United States where it was made into the movie Town Without Pity.
