Willem Cornelis ‘Wim’ Kan (1911-1983) was a Dutch cabaret artist and actor. Together with Toon Hermans and Wim Sonneveld he is considered one of the ‘Big Three’ of Dutch cabaret. He is best known as the originator of the "Oudejaarsconference” (New Year’s Conference) — an annual Dutch tradition of political cabaret performances on New Year's Eve, discussing the events of the past year.
