Not a bad sequel to the first one, the characters are all new (except for Evan Peters who had a supporting role in the original) but the plot is on a similar page.

In this one there is 4 instead of just 1 fighters we follow which makes for a good change up.

To be fair I'm not sure any of the 4 could have a movie focused on only 1 of them because it's definitly a case where they got chosen for their fighting abilities more than their acting abilities.

That said they do what their characters require of them and they all manage to get their personalities out on the screen so even though neither of them will probably ever win any acting awards in these roles they are perfectly acceptable.

Michael Jai White steps up on the acting tip for sure as their mentor.

Not a perfect film by any means and the budget seems to only been a 10th of the original film but they make do with what they got and provide a pretty entertaining film, with a kickass soundtrack to boot.

The second time I watched it, the first time I gave it a 6/10 but now I'm willing to raise it up to a 6.5/10.
