It kind of reminded me of being a kid again. Cowboys, a mystery, some of the things the child in me would have loved. And then, on top of it, was a narration that reminded me of childhood classics like The Boy Who Could Fly, Radio Flyer, Sandlot, The Princess Bride, all the movies that kids from the 80s knew and loved.

And the best part is that it's a pure light film. It's not dark, it's not cynical, it doesn't force political morality designed to paint it's target audience as evil or shame the things they like... it's just a light fun film.

The good guys are good. The bad guys are bad. Mystery, action, suspense. The characters are developed, they aren't stereotyped created to force an agenda.

It's just a refreshingly simple and ultimately well acted and thoroughly entertaining film. And one that is family friendly. It's hard to find in 2020 and I am glad I took the time to watch it, for a little while it made me forget about the chaos of this year.
