Small Revolts

Summary

A small town in northern Greece: the film begins with Anna’s monolog in a theater rehearsal in a coffee shop. Manos, obsessed with Panselinos (a 13th century Byzantine painter), himself hidden inside a trivial life, watches her. It is the turning point for both of them. Anna, married to an abusive man, is mesmerized by Manos’ paintings and his kindness. They develop a powerful passion
